FAQs

  • Online consultations make appointments much more accessible. Good internet is the only requirement so our consultation can be as fluid as possible. Once you book your appointment, a new patient intake form will be emailed to you and requires completion 2 days prior to your scheduled appointment. A Zoom link will also be sent to you for our private video call.

It is recommended that you download the Zoom software prior to your consultation on your phone/iPad/laptop to save time. Please ensure your audio and video settings are enabled.

At the end of the consultation, I will explain your treatment plan and what steps I wish you to take over the coming weeks. The completed treatment plan will be emailed to you within 24 hours. This will include your prescription, dosages, dietary and lifestyle suggestions, and referrals for testing if required.

  • I use an online prescription service called Vital.ly which has a range of prescription-only products. This may include herbs and nutraceutical supplements. Using Vital.ly allows me to tailor the treatment specifically for your needs.

After the consultation, you will receive an email from Vital.ly that will take you to your personal account. This will show you the prescribed products and their cost, allowing you to purchase and Vital.ly will deliver within a few business days.

Herbal tinctures are a personalised blend of liquid herbs, tailored specifically for your personal needs. If herbal tinctures are required as part of your treatment, I will discuss this with you at your consultation.

Ultimately, I provide a treatment protocol that I believe will benefit you the most. However, the choice of how much you invest in the prescribed products is entirely up to you.

  • Depending on your needs, I may write you a referral letter for you to take to your GP to get pathology testing under Medicare. I can also refer you for pathology testing, however, this is not covered by Medicare.

If functional testing is required, I can also refer you to a laboratory. Functional tests include microbiome mapping, stool test and/or hormone testing. These are normally out-of-pocket expenses and not usually covered by Medicare or insurance. Prior to ordering, I will discuss the costs with you.

The laboratory will send you out a testing kit with delayed instructions to collect the sample and return it directly to them. You will pay the laboratory directly and results will be sent to me which we will discuss in detail in our next consultation.
